IC 1396 – The Elephant’s Trunk Nebula
The Celestron RASA 11″ doing it’s job at F/2.2 with really good seeing this fall. I captured this image over multiple nights with RGB filters for the stars and then Sulfur, Hydrogen, Oxygen filters for the nebulosity in this bright and energetic region.
