M31 Andromeda Galaxy
M31 Andromeda Galaxy
This is our nearest similar galaxy Andromeda, was able to capture over 4 consecutive nights, July 26th-29th in RGB. I used Ha to blend in the Hydrogen regions that make for the bright purple nebula regions. Still amazes me how fast the light can be captured with a RASA at F/2. Taken with a small ASI 1600mm and Baader Ha F/2 ultra highspeed 3.5nm filter. Baader F/2 RGB filters handled the broader color spectrum as well as the ASG Photon Cage for precise tilt and alignment of the optics.
