Filter Assembly for RASA 8 + 2600/QHY600SBFL
- Description
The ASG Filter Slider assembly designed to work with the larger 90mm ASI 2400/2600mc/mm cameras and a RASA 8. This unit provides the special spacing necessary to fit a full filter slider AND a larger 12.5mm backfocus camera like a ASI 2600/2400 and the QHY 600 SBFL. The system incorporates a 2 piece system with a lockring and special filter slider assembly.
The unit can be clocked using shims or you can also clock the filter holder in different starting orientations using the concentric hole pattern on the lockring. Using the bolt pattern to adjust spacing gives even 45 degree rotation OR you can utilize shims to unthread quickly the whole unit and re-thread in the field.
The unit bolts directly to the ASG Photon Cage for a modular design, and the best part is your investment isn't a waste since you can always move to a new scope and attach a stock filter slider or remove for an SCT/refractor type setup the same photon cage.
