ASG Astronomy filter slider box fits 3 or more filter sliders for the Photon Cage. The filter slider box is 3D printed and will work with either our metal CNC aluminum or 3D printed filter holders. The boxes all come with holes ready for magnets if you wish to install them. We do not install magnets in them, but you can get 4mm x 2mm magnets on Amazon and glue in place should you wish to use them.
Key Features
The filter slider holder is designed to only use with our filter sliders. It will not work with other manufacturers filter sliders. All box slots are blocked from each other, so dust will not pass to other filters when one is removed. The blank filter holder does not come with designated RGB, HOS, UBVRI, or LRGBHOS markings on each slot so you can utilize any filter you may need. If you do wish to have the box 3D printed with your filter designations, please see those products on our store.
Custom CNC Engraving
If you do wish to include CNC machined aluminum filter sliders, we also offer the ability to laser engrave on each filter slider holder your specific filter name. L, R, G, B, Ha, Oiii, Sii, U, B, V, R, I or others can add that custom touch to each filter slider and make it easy to distinguish them in the dark with a light background.
Special Note: 3D Printed Parts
For anyone not familiar with 3D printed parts, there will be varying degrees of blemishes that are across the varying surfaces. They are not machined parts, nor do we sell them as such, and when you receive parts that are 3D printed there will be some degree of blemishes somewhere on them. We fully stand behind them as working products and if for some reason they are not workable products, we will work to make it right. Just know it's 3D printed plastic!
