We offer our PRO ASG filter sliders in 3D printed versions which can save in cost and delivery time. The beauty of our filter slider is its modular design that works with either Photon Cage version. These filter sliders are made as thin as possible to fit into our ultra-narrow designed system. The PRO filter sliders are designed only for use with our M68 PRO filter slider assembly and while they are a bit more complex, they allow us to mount an assortment of filters under the Photon Cage.
Key Features
We provide PRO sliders in a variety of different configurations for filters. The PRO slider system is designed to give more flexible filter option choices, while the Standard filter slider system is more economical and easier to produce, thus keeping cost down. When choosing your filter sliders, you have the following options. Custom solutions can be provided if you contact us directly.
- 50mm unmounted round filters. Come with 4 holding screws to keep them in place.
- 2" mounted M48 filters. Custom built to accept this round thread pattern.
- IDAS 52mm threaded round filter. Custom built to accept this round thread pattern.
- 50x50 unmounted square filters we recommend our full CNC machined slider holders.
Compatibility
Our filter holders are specifically designed to work with our ASG Photon Cage system. Our filter holders are not interchangeable across other systems such as Baader UFC or Starizona or ZWO filter holders. Also note that filter holders from other companies will not work in our system and vise versa.
Images show how it integrates into our PRO filter slider system (sold seperately). This product includes only the 3D printed filter slider.
Special Note: 3D Printed Parts
For anyone not familiar with 3D printed parts, there will be varying degrees of blemishes that are across the varying surfaces. They are not machined parts, nor do we sell them as such, and when you receive parts that are 3D printed there will be some degree of blemishes somewhere on them. We fully stand behind them as working products and if for some reason they are not workable products, we will work to make it right. Just know it's 3D printed plastic!
