This is our PRO M68 filter slider system designed to mount to the Photon Cage. This filter slider provides the use of larger filter sliders such as 50x50 square filters, 50mm round filters, and 52mm IDAS round mounted filters (others upon request). The PRO filter slider system was designed to open the light path to M68 compared to our standard filter slider system which is limited to M54. While the design was optimized for the RASA 11 series scope, it can be universally used on SCT's, Refractors, Epsilons or other scopes which do require a manual filter slider system mounted to the base of a Photon Cage.
Key Features
This product is CNC machined and anodized black and comes with 68mm internal 1mm pitch threads on the baseplate. It will bolt directly to your ASG Photon Cage and will take up a total of 15mm of backfocus. The holder is 11mm thick and the baseplater is 4mm thick. We also provide a full 3D printed light cover system that will magnetically open/close and cover the entire filter slider system from light leaks.
Compatibility
This part is designed to bolt directly to your ASG Photon Cage. It is possible to mount 2 baseplates on each side, making this an M68 filter slider with M68 x 1mm threads on both sides. This part requires M68 accessories be mounted to it. This part uses M68 x 1mm threads, and was designed to work with spacers and rotators such as the BlueFire Rotator or Spacer set located here.
