This is our RASA 8 cable guide that is 3D printed to fit a Celestron RASA 8 with a ASG Photon Cage. It is specifically engineered to extend higher than usual to allow the guide rings to come in over the top of the Photon Cage camera mounting rings. This keeps your diffraction spikes to a minimum and optical pathway as open as possible.
Key Features
This is designed to slide smoothly onto your RASA 8 outer visor. You can tape your power and USB cables to each guide keeping a nice organized loop to your cabling. You can use this with our without a Photon Cage, but we specifically designed it to reach up above the camera holding ring and get your cables inside the optical obstruction window. Simple to use and easy to install!
Special Note: 3D Printed Parts
For anyone not familiar with 3D printed parts, there will be varying degrees of blemishes that are across the varying surfaces. They are not machined parts, nor do we sell them as such, and when you receive parts that are 3D printed there will be some degree of blemishes somewhere on them. We fully stand behind them as working products and if for some reason they are not workable products, we will work to make it right. Just know it's 3D printed plastic!
